Since the other partner has nothing, I take the loss and move on! I have a contract that is enforceable but there is nothing to to gain by spending money suing.

Are you a CDL operator? If you are , my advice will be , start driving it .
If you are not , sell it and do something else .

I might be interested since I have sand and oilfield experience and been out of work for a little while now and no one seems to want to hire me for some reason, even with an x endorsement. Mostly due to not having two years within three years.

Having said that, as previous poster has mentioned, main thing is I'M not getting screwed. Meaning, truck is in very good working condition AND I get paid on time. I'm not driving down the road risking my CDL and/or my life because of non compliant DOT equipment. PM me, would consider it if you could provide more detail info about the equipment and pay/schedule.

If your that broke that you will be living or operating settlement to settlement, then file chapter 7 wipe it all clean & start fresh.

Don’t prolong the inevitable. Don’t suck in an unsuspecting person into your mess. If you hire someone, they are your employee & that brings responsibilities. You have to not only keep up to the promises made, but also make sure he earns enough to keep food on the table & a roof over the families head.

It’s unfair to him to have to live thru your struggle. File bankruptcy & get yourself a fresh start!

I appreciate your sentiments but I'm not going to place someone in jeopardy because of my past situation! I understand that people have to live and eat, so do I! I've put a great deal of my personal money into this and I got screwed. I'm looking for a way back and BK is the last final solution.

I have a Class B CDL, I don't have a Class A. If I did, I'd be driving myself out of this situation.
