So far I’m pretty impressed. I know everyone has different experiences and backgrounds but for me I think the benefits are amazing. Hotel is really nice, good food at the onboarding...

They show you what they want...for pre trip etc., which I appreciated. Only have one day down but so far so good. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to working here for sure!

Did they put you up with another driver or do you have a Hotel room to yourself?

Nope...got a room to myself. King bed, couch, fridge, microwave. Gotta say I’m really impressed with how Walmart treats their drivers. And they feed us very well! Lol

Yeah 2 years ago when we started it was almost unusually if you went into a DC and there wasn't food, we called it the Walmart 30, because you gained 30lbs in the first year here. That's pretty much stopped now, except for the special occasion.

One thing I will say is know your pre trip! Driving and backing are all good for me, but they really want a thorough pre trip and they time it....that’s what I need to work on...getting through it a little faster.

Out of curiosity what do they consider a reasonable time for a pre trip ? Used to take me as long as it took me.

    They w
ant you to do it in under 15 minutes, but the major emphasis is on being thorough.
