The opposite is actually taught in schools where kids learn to police others.

Example my son was taught to go tell a teacher if he gets hit by another student, I fixed that problem. Now no one dares to hit him knowing full well he will go Mike Tyson on them. Just took two write ups and a parent teacher conference for them to understand my kids are taught at home to stand up to bullying to save money on therapist when they grow up. Needles to say it all starts at home.

    My daughter is the same.

They also know the meaning of a Rat and to only notify when someone’s life is in danger. Other then that they mind their own business.

    Starts at home.

Yep, it has really not been that many years since it would not have been to profitable to be ratting out any trucker.

Way back in 1993 when I got my first and only DUI, I had to pay "court costs". That's the cost of prosecution.

Truck stops need land. Land costs money, especially in NY or CA. How would you make money when the trucks pulling into your truckstop only used your bathroom and bought a coffee?

What if they did it like a membership? Would drivers consider that?

I would rather pay a monthly or annual fee to park at a truck stop chain than pay for a reserved spot... Especially if members got say 4 free reserved spots a month.

That's a good business idea to pitch then. Membership could come in different levels with varying amenities.
