do you also have a rand mc nally truckers atlas?

i had a rand gps, it was ok, but it would tell me the building i wanted was on the right, when it was actually on the left, more than one time......i don't believe any gps is 100% accurate.

I wouldn't. Both the old and new will use the same map data and route you the same.

You could go for a different brand, they may have in-house "fixes" for some routing issues, but I'm sure you would see different problems. I don't think it's worth the price of a new one for what they offer. I think they are overpriced for what they are and quality is lacking.

I would just keep the one you have up to date and use it till it dies.

Download the Co-Pilot app on your phone and subscribe. Cheaper in the long run and easier to keep up with.

A new GPS isn't going to solve your problems; but using all your tools and a healthy dose of common sense; that should keep you from going down a road that isn't meant for for trucks.

If you follow blindly and take directions from the local grocery store, your in for a big surprise.

I get alot of those when the delivery is out on the "woods" On some dirt road "over the river and through the woods" to get there. It's like the last thing you would want to see..

Surprisingly it does well in those situations. as does Google, it fails on the paved highway/city routing. o_O
