My wife's business partner had a "random cardiac event" when he was 27 years old. Co worker saved his life with CPR, and he had to have a pacemaker put in. He said he never got an answer as to why it happened, but it gave him a different perspective on life....

...which is why sometimes he's about the most irresponsible 45 year old I've ever known.

Truck number 2 down. Transmission #### the bed halfway through unloading. Ignition and transmission problems (likely all electrical). Had to pull the ECM fuse to kill it because it wouldn't shut off normally (some cool down protection bull). Disconnect didn't work. Disconnecting the batteries directly wouldn't work. Choking it out wouldn't kill it. This thing didn't want to die.

Third truck is on its way. If I weren't getting paid for this and the staff in the shop and dispatch weren't super friendly and helpful (including calling me directly after hours, making sure I get paid by instructing me exactly what I have to do with the computer), I probably would have asked for a ride back and gone home.

It's a weird feeling knowing the company is actually looking out for you rather than just their bottom line and will send a tow truck TWICE to keep me moving, with absolutely no hesitation over cost.

And now she's all cooled off, she starts, stops and unhooks no problem. Oh well, shop guy said even if it does restart and works, he doesn't want it pulling heavy, so they're bringing it back.

Seems like there might be a whole host of electrical gremlins chewing away at this thing. Might be time for her to retire.

Two wrecked two trucks in one day. One from emissions and one from the auto trans. I guess truck 3 will have an ABS problem
