To add, now that Im caught up. The big hole drums is bullshuff manufacturer solution to not having to cast multiple drums. Kinda of a universal deal. Last I knew Webb still had made in USA small holes. Tru balance had some but not all. If this your situation, use the screw on pins. Center drum by eyeball, slide rim on and tighten a few lugs. Have someone apply the brakes firm, but not hard. Snug the 7 lugs to a few 100 foot pounds. Release the brakes and make sure your pins are free. Moves. Tighten to 425 foot lbs. Remove pins and tighten all to 450-500 foot lbs. This will get you as close as you can.

Yes you must have won the china lotto. I seen a Akuret steer jump rolling it across a cement floor by hand and no rim.

Yep. Not really helping me like them at all. Second one was a semi-auto Eaton ultrashift, pre-SCR (DPF only), ####ing pigsty. It has a THIRD PEDAL. Nobody tells me how to use one, they just expect me to know, lol. Almost stalled a couple times already.

FFS if you want to make me use a clutch, just give me the freaking stick in the floor! At least they are both an 18 though.

This one I'm in now (#3) is the same. But its very clean. Cleanest truck so far I've seen at this terminal, including guys who drive here full time. If this one works *knocks on head*, I might just request to keep it. Save me a lot of time cleaning.

Still don't like the touchy throttle. And with the company moving to new Cascadias, I don't want to get used to a Mack long term.

Understood. I always was helping my pops work on his stuff. Then spent 3 or 4 months putting my truck together and he was my helper. He passed 3 years later and that short time of nights and weekends were the best time I ever spent with him over all the years.

I don't think that's same shade or something...........or maybe it is just timeless class of the 359 lines that make the gold look good.

I'm waiting to see how the turbo does pulling. It adds an interesting sound. The boss took her up the freeway and back to get the logo put on but it was just bobtailing.

I've never had any project I didn't enjoy working with him on. I try to cherish every job I get to learn from him. He's a very meticulous man. He NEVER stops thinking about how we can do things better. He is a little ocd about things on
I've never had a project that was just him and I that I didn't enjoy. Things get stressful and we have time or budget constraints but I just want to enjoy it. I love watching how much thought he puts into everything!
