Been through five of these trucking companies Central Oregon being one of them. It's like looking at a jelly filled donut, you get a donut that looks delicious but you get disappointed because someone forgot to put the jelly inside. There are people who don't care whats inside they just like bread. I felt like I was at a cult camp for flat bedders, oh joy we want you to be the best, we know you can do it. Be at the cons, don't waste your time driving from a truck stop or rest area, manage your time down to the second. Tarp EVERY load even though your going a hundred miles in 100 degree sunny weather. Then you meet everybody face to face, like hay were buds now, we can hang out at the local brew pub, very creepy stuff. Had my fill of 100lb tarps in 40 mph wind & rain. with age comes wisdom

They sound very good when I called them. I was told 55cpm.
    But (no pets allowed)
    I think smoking was OK?

I liked their tarp method vs using bungee/tarp straps. Impressed that they implemented that technique company wide. It's good for them and good for the driver.

If your a company driver stuck using company equipment, it's a nice time saver.

No I don’t understand how the 401k deductions are made probably something with per diem idk it’s about 100 into 401k but no I’m making more than 1000 like I said 1575 gross so you would think it would be 150 bucks but idk how that stuff works past 3 weeks now I got 3k miles gross of 1575 after 100 dollar 401k deduction net paycheck 1169 each week now add in loyalty 30 bucks 401k match 50 bucks and what you would normally pay for health care 50 to 100 bucks you can see that 1169 is actually higher after 3 years loyalty pay would be 90 bucks 3cpm not a bad gig at all and like I said this company actually cares about their drivers

Yes smoking is fine idk about 55 cpm unless your running quad fleet they are home every weekend and make more but drive less. On my info on the app I like it because it breaks down all your performance says I’m making 52 cpm the miles here are broken down into tiers anything under 2000 miles is 50 cpm and over it ranges from 52 to 54 cpm

Yeah I’d say like 80 something % of loads are tarped I do get a few no tarp loads tho they arnt uncommon for me man I love the small light untarped loads that run from nj all the way to Cali for Oregon. We do a lot of longer runs like pretty much everytime I leave home I live in pa I usually get a 2k+ miles run. I don’t mind tarping we do use shock cord so it makes it easier takes me like 40 minutes to tarp 30 or so to untarp. Not a big deal but I’m pretty quick at it. Now when it’s winter and -15 degrees the tarps literally freeze then it’s no fun not at all

Yes my last truck had some issues that needed fixed I went to yard they were like it’s gonna take 4 days!! You know what they did for me? Upgraded me to a way newer truck. Like I said they want their drivers happy so if your truck is gonna take awhile to fix they will usually just get you to yard and give you a new truck and the maintenance department at the yard is awesome they don’t do first come first serve tho it’s really who needs to leave first

Hey you get in life what you put into it you may be happy having a nice house and car and a job where you are home more often me personally I’m racking up cash investing and retiring to Florida earlier than 60 years old everything will be paid for it’s a sacrifice but 15 to 20 years from now I will have should have everything I need. won’t be a millionaire if I got a home now and all that day job stuff ya know? Save every penny I can. Invest. Otr trucking can be perfect if you give up having a life for a fraction of your life lol.
