Wife is coming out to Brandon tonight, staying with me in a hotel till tomorrow for my reset, then I'm heading out Monday.

Brandon to Gilbert Plaine, MB, then reload out of Clavet, SK back to Neepawa. From there, they are going to be running my hours dry and I'm looking forward to it.

Close, it's a shingle, or roofing, hatchet.

The holes are a shingle gauge, for setting the overlap on the shingles as you lay them.

So you put the head against the row above? This is before my roofing part time short career. To keep it straight?

Yes, you hook the gauge pin on the bottom of the row you just laid and set the bottom of the shingle above it against the head. Nail one end, move to the other end and nail it. Then put 2 more in between. It will keep things as straight as the row below it.
