Who’s at fault here?

wow what a moron..., "tf u want me to do #######" hes the real ####### here speeding up to put the day cab in a bad spot, he was already commited to the turn and making it and this guy want to haul ### into the guy making a turn instead of staying back and giving him space.. be a professional, this is one of them guys that pass u at .5 mph faster than you holding up traffic , and speeding thru truckstops grabbing 12 gears before he gets out of his spot.... yeah maybe swift aint a good driver either and maybe aint in the right either but the dashcammer could atleast give him space to complete the turn instead of adding to the stupidity....just my 2 cents

 

OK, I'll ask you. In the 3.6 seconds from the start of the video until the guy with the camera is at a complete stop how do you figure he sped up? Am I watching a whole different video?

And yes, the guy with the cam could have handled it better.

he couldve slowed down very easily instead of maintaining speed is what im saying.... they are both in the wrong but the dashcam truck should have been the professional truck driver and slowed down and gave swift plenty of room to turn and not add to all the stupidity that exists on the road already..its sad that when swift goes out and does something stupid and this guy comes in blocking him and cussing him and calling swift an idiot only adds to the idiocy because he is blocking traffic just as much as swift is... this situation could have been avoided entirely

The video in the first post is actually 2 videos. At the 12 second mark it switches from the one in parking lot where it's raining and the swift highway truck is visible to the one on the roadway where the swift day cab is entering the intersection. From that point it's 3.6 seconds until the guy with cam is completely stopped and he is slowing for that whole time.

This is where the video with the day cab starts, where the guy with the cam is less than 200' from the intersection. I'm not seeing the part of the video where the guy speeds up.

 

On Facebook I’m not sure how to post the video here. It actually has his speed and it increases quickly up until he jams his brakes on. The dash cam guy just completed a turn which is why Swifty probably didn’t see him till it was too late

 

Looks like after all the backlash he removed the video. I did find screenshots another FB user grabbed and posted pointing out the guy speeding up

 

Makes sense now. Blame goes to the guy filming.
