    2 days.
Found out loads getting me home for reset each week aren't here.
Guaranteed pay is a crock unless you can bust out 750 miles each and every day in around a 10 hour window including loads and unloads.
    Trucks suck.
    Boss is super aggressive.

    I'm a tiny outfit.

I'll promise you a really nice truck, some really good money, and guarantee you will get it shoved up your ### on occasion through know fault of your own.

Add is in the jobs section.

Lol this was one of those "I'm a good ol country boy handshake is a deal type of show" I took it with a grain of salt when I hired on but it's pretty horrific here....I mean 750 dollars a week before taxes horrific.

Add is in the jobs section. If I say too much the mods will get mad. We have rules.

2 days?? You haven't even given it a full week to see what YOU can make of it... I'd at least give it 2 weeks and then see if it really is $750 a week before taxes... If the boss is agressive, mean to you, or calls you names, then turn the truck around and take the load back...

2 days here is more than some. I'm not out here to "see what it turns into" I'm out here because he had so much work so many miles so great of pay such nice trucks and it's not here.

I would take it back to the yard. If you had to, you could claim no AC as a safety issue. Say you came back to get it fixed but decided it was just a good time to go home since things weren't obviously working out.

If it's that bad they probably won't blame you though they might put up a rehearsed fuss like they're supposed to. I have been in similar situations where you just have to immediately separate from the situation regardless of the possible outcome. You'll feel so good when you're sitting back at home.

I probably wouldn't give the same advice to a new driver. Sounds like you've been around a little while. I have over 15 years and near perfect record in all departments so I don't care what some company tries to say about me when I leave. I haven't heard anything from any place else where I've gone to work about why I left here or there.

chimbotano, TigerShark and Chinatown Thank this.
