Found out loads getting me home for reset each week aren't here.
Guaranteed pay is a crock unless you can bust out 750 miles each and every day in around a 10 hour window including loads and unloads.
Trucks suck.
Boss is super aggressive.Cam Roberts Thanks this. -
I'm a tiny outfit.
I'll promise you a really nice truck, some really good money, and guarantee you will get it shoved up your ### on occasion through know fault of your own.

I would take it back to the yard. If you had to, you could claim no AC as a safety issue. Say you came back to get it fixed but decided it was just a good time to go home since things weren't obviously working out.
If it's that bad they probably won't blame you though they might put up a rehearsed fuss like they're supposed to. I have been in similar situations where you just have to immediately separate from the situation regardless of the possible outcome. You'll feel so good when you're sitting back at home.
I probably wouldn't give the same advice to a new driver. Sounds like you've been around a little while. I have over 15 years and near perfect record in all departments so I don't care what some company tries to say about me when I leave. I haven't heard anything from any place else where I've gone to work about why I left here or there.chimbotano, TigerShark and Chinatown Thank this.
