I hope this will not end up being logging to load trucks with pulp wood for a paper mill.
In Michigan with 80,000 lbs of wood it usually averages to $1000 per load to the truck. Which just seems very cheap when drivers only manage 5 loads a week most times. -
Locally, we pay around 3.50 a loaded mile, $200 minimum trip.
A motivated driver can pull 5 loads a day if they have a spare trailer.
We load while they're rolling, drop and hook, no waiting.Intothesunset Thanks this. -
