So the first photo shows the Swift truck just starting to pull out as a vehicle is passing by, and it is pretty far away from the camera.
The photo shows a speed of 16MPH.

The second shows the Swift truck at the half way point of making the turn, and the photo shows the approach at 22MPH.

A total of 4 seconds has elapsed between the two photos.

So the person taking the video was accelerating during that time, and had gained 6MPH in those 4 seconds.
Why would anyone be gaining speed as a truck was turning in front of them?

Given the distance in the first photo and the speed of the approaching vehicle, how many of us would not have decided to make that left turn?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

And the OP video just shows the truck stopping just short of the Swift truck, blowing the horn and yelling.

From everything I have seen, the person making the video was just being a total jerk.

I find it funny and a little sad that so many drivers automatically condemn a driver, just because he drives for a mega, for some, because he doesn't drive for a mega, for some, or because he is an OO for some.
It doesn't matter the situation some drivers will be claiming the other driver is to blame. Like this for instance, there is nothing there to even assign blame, if you have never pulled out only to have a vehicle come up and block you, you have never driven much, or maybe even at all, in other words it happens in real life.
When some idiot does that to me, I will keep moving until I am within a couple of inches of them, set the brake and sit their until they either move or say something. If and when they say something about me getting out of their way, I just tell them I have a bed in here and will get in it till they decide to get out of my way.

If their a mile away I'm turning and I dont care what it is, unless it's a train, if they slow down a bit like a normal person and I use the gas peddle properly they won't even have to worry about passing me.

    We should syndicate a gameshow.

Called "waiting on you, pay me."

Put several truckers in a mini room with vending stuffed with 3 day old food, a ice machine with mold and a Bathroom that requires heroic measures to boot. Spice the room in one corner with the window and three obnoxious mutiny clerks.

The ones who make it into day three and finally docks with a small prize. After that bunch You can put in a championship match where it features seriously appalling conditions while the strong wait. Give them a 5 day wait time. Whoever is last standing wins the grand prize.

    who edited it...you..???

i ain't gonna change my mind. the swift driver saw the oncoming traffic. he had a STOP sign, in essence, he did not yield to oncoming traffic.

he could have pulled forward a bit, AFTER he made the stop at the stop sign. enough to see past that tree at the corner.....

also, i now also place blame onto the person/persons that own that tree, which clearly blocks the view of the road, from that corner.

still swifts fault for NOT pulling foward a bit, to check some more, before being an arse and pulling out.

But the other truck just pulled out of a driveway too.
Dashcam edited that part out because he was getting crucified for gunning it to block Swift.
