Looks good. Except for water is positive?
What is TBN?
How many miles on oil?
Being it did not say the quantity of water I would not worry. Or change the oil. -
Intothesunset Thanks this.

Is that a CAT lab sample? I think they’re the worst. I highly recommend Blackstone Labs. Their reports are actually helpful and easy to read. I’d call the lab and see if by water they meant coolant. If there is really water in the oil, you need to change it and check your oil pan gasket. I believe an oil pan gasket would be the only way water would get in your oil.
Intothesunset and Newbieboy Thank this. -
Oil have like 20k to 25k miles. Yes it’s cat lab.
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
Also, in the future, request TBN and TAN. What you have is good for seeing wear metals but to know if your oil is good or bad, you need TBN and TAN. Here is an example from Blackstone. It is much more detailed.
Newbieboy Thanks this. -
I meant I did not see a TBN number or base number.
-
Tbn number or base number is it same thing?
-
Rideandrepair and Newbieboy Thank this.
