Hey. Quick question. Do I need an escort to cross the George Washington Bridge from NYC to NJ? I'm pulling a dry van trailer and I have heard that some truck need an escort. This will be my first venture into NYC so it will be more for current and future reference. Thanks in advance.

No escort required for a dry van, just $105 for that toll east bound

Is it cash only or cashless cause I ain't paying that out of my own pocket. I will go around NYC before I do that.

So, I won't have to pay the toll taking a load from CT to Newark NJ?

One more thing, are there any weight restrictions on I95 in or around NYC?

Ok. I will just go around NYC. Not gonna risk it. The company can complain all they want. This load I'm getting now is gonna screw up my scheduled home time like h-e-l-l. I will probably still get it but not at a time when i can spend time with family.

You are fine. It's me and Western Express that are gonna have issues. I been out since April 3rd. Three weeks with a trainer and three or four weeks on my own. All but two of the loads I have delivered were anywhere from thirty minutes to one day early. I think a deserve a little home time. What do you think?
