Any news on the wipper.....?
SingingWolf, CaptainDaveG and tucker Thank this. -
I owned trucks off and on since age 19, (over 60 now), owned my own businesses, ect. I drive someone elses truck now. I really like going home at night and letting someone else worry about the truck, maintenance, tags, fuel, customers, if I get sick who will run the company, ect....

Take it.
Seems like awesome pay, truck and bonuses....minus headache of owning/operating your own truck.SingingWolf and scythe08 Thank this. -

Not that my thought matters much, but why would you not take it???
I guess if you make more than that with what you are already doing, then it gets tricky. But are you making that much more to justify the headache of having your own truck?SingingWolf Thanks this. -
Last year I did 244 grand to the truck out 220 days. Got to keep 45% after all expenses and taxes. This year I’m trending to be down 52 grand on the same numbers. Still good but not great and now I have to hustle for the back hauls. I’m not upset with the market. Part of me want to just enjoy the grand kids and the camper on the lake and just go to work.

2 things.......
#1 take it. For $120k and not having to worry about every burp and fart your truck makes, is a deal on wheels.
#2 consider what the payoff is on your truck versus what its worth. If you only owe 15 and its worth 50, it might be a good decision to pay it off and sell it.
As always, best of luck.JOHNQPUBLIC, SingingWolf, mxpx148 and 1 other person Thank this.
