Hi, I delivered a load in PA and sitting there not able to find any good load coming toward AZ, CA, NV, TX areas. Ridiculously low rates out there. Will appreciate advice if anyone was in this situation on how to find good loads.

Hanover PA. Food Country including UTZ's

Amish Country big on apples. There is a Snapple drinks shipper in Mt Holly Springs PA.

Paper mill is Harrisburg, As General Mills Cereal.

US Navy (Probably post 9-11) joint depot Harrisburg.

PA sometimes takes everything and hardly ships anything. If you are quick enough you will find some loads.

Sometimes you will break even on a crappy 1.20 run to reposition your truck in the good lane.

Sorry OP the only good rates out of the northeast are LTL or TL to Ohio and Chicago.
Always been that way ...you make your money inbound there .

You’ll have to take something or nothing to Illinois.
We’re at a really low time right now as far as rates go.

Hi, Not able to find any on Load board. You know anyone I can approach, a broker may be? You do not really have to share, if you do not want to. Thanks!

Any long haul freight is going to be a back haul out of there. Probably 1.00-1.20 a mile. If you really need to get back West, either find a broker on the east coast that does LTL heading West, or split your trip up and get to AR, NE, or IA and take meat West. The one pick one drop, long haul freight is trash right now.
