Ok my cruise has been going in and out fir months. But the last month the jake has not engaged on and off. Today it happened in northern Arizona. I went down the big hill in 6th. With a flammable on.

The lights for cruise and jake come on in the dash. But don't work.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Could it be a short in switch or wires?
    Or bad actuator?

Clutch switch with both not working would be my guess, just the cruise, it's usually a brake switch, and usually the trailer brake handle on the dash, in my experience.

Is the clutch switch inside or outside?

Only going up i17. But that is 1500 ft to over 6000ft. It was hot for a while. No a normal 2 mile pull doing 50 mph it's fine.
