Company Driver Pay Chart

I made this chart for myself so as I compare companies. I wanted to have a quick reference on how much I can make.

50 cents a mile is better than 45 cents a mile you would think. But if you get just a few more miles at 45 cents you can make a lot more money

I used to make 25 an hour but they didn't pay overtime. I could have gotten a job making 17.50 an hour that did pay overtime and brought home the same paycheck.

I hope drivers can use this when determining what company to work for as well as determining when it's time to move on to other opportunities.

 

Put yourself right between $0.35 and $0.40 that'll give you a good estimate.

If you want to take it a step further divide it by 70.

70 is for the work week hours.

If you're stuck at a shippers, waiting on a load or just done early you are still working a full week. Anything less and being at home with your family is work whether you get paid for it or not.
