No, they are very firm about 2 years. And a feeder driver is a driver who takes one or two trailers to the various hubs and feeds the system with packages. All the packages that are in the back of your trailer go into the brown vans for delivery.

I'm at a customer to pick something up. The customer has no idea what I'm grabbing, they have no records of any pickups today. I proceed to leave and the exit is the same as the entrance. No room to turn around where I'm parked so I was bracing myself to back out onto a very busy tight street. Anyway, the customer says I go past the building where there's room to turn around. Ok cool. It was extremely muddy and I ended up getting stuck trying to turn around. My steers were pretty deep in mud. Customer says it's not their fault and won't claim responsibility. My company had to call a wrecker to pull me out of the mud.

Do they not have the job posted? I looked for it just for kicks and the only thing I see in Denver is for OTR truckload drivers. If I recall correctly, the feeder driver position will just say “tractor trailer driver.”

ahhh that sucks when ever you get into a situation like that all way phone it in or send a text and wait for a response, GET OUT AND LOOK and if you have a moment when you think its iffy CALL IT IN ....they always want to blame us so i dont anything unless approved by you company if the customer had no freight its a "dry run" they should take responsiblity for it cause if they didnt call in a pick up you wouldnt have gotten stuck.......bro ill wait for another company driver to get there before i straight back on to a busy street..........also if all the trucks go head in to this place you gotta chance of not getting dinged,..........

Today i snapped at delivery : the delivery point is notorious for multiple trucks (Carriers) getting stuck when you leave, so i backed on the other side of the building witch is about 150 feet from where they usually offload and i guess they dont wanna drive forklift cause its an incovinece for them. he through the other driver card in my face and i said " Look dude order the other driver then, we have this problem every time we come here, take the pallets from there or im leaving " the customer said " ok ill get them " dude its not even a dock they want me to go blind side through a small gate with a huge telephone poll in the middle of the whole place ..... F THAT GUY

Some outfits will not only call that a preventable accident but also hold the driver responsible for the wrecker bill. Back in or walk in first, at ALL times.
