No, it's a short ubolt that captures the 2 leaf springs, it's only about 5 inches long but lower saddle is 1 1/2 inches thick 1558548576890-1866696756.jpg

Tighten the nut with a 3/4 impact til it spins. Zip gun on the top to vibrate it loose. Both at the same time if you have four hands.

Normally their loose when they come it the bay, you must have the only frozen one.....lol

Thanks Goodysnap, they must have been broke long before I had the truck, just noticed, I've been heating and beating all day one hole now open, but can't get straight hit on inner, don't have enough air volume to properly fire 3/4 impact, may have to travel to better supply, I mean these things are like welded, been trying every thing I can think of to penetrate

I guess it's good to know that this is not common, thought maybe standard procedure was to replace complete bushing assembly, really sucks that I noticed rear is also broke while trying to free front

Get a big enough gun on that nut and tighten it........it'll move. The vibration is what will move it.

Lol, okay I guess that's what I'll have to do, the new bolt is so loose in the hole it's amazing how they locked up, probably not touched since 88

Theres a plate that goes between the ubolt and the spring on the top side. Doesnt look like they have been on there is some time.
