Peterbuilt HQ has a seismograph like they use for earthquakes. That’s what led them to find that bad driveline.

Dealer replaced both my front shafts on my 2019 389 due to bad vibration between 55-65 mph. It's now smooth. Stayed at dealer a month getting fixed. I raised hell about it to the field rep and he extended my warranty an additional year. By the way my truck had 1,000 miles on it. I attached a pic of my truck for the shi* of it.

update! after spending a week at the dealer they determined that the rear axles were not aligned with the transmission correctly. now the vibration is gone by about 80%. at 55 ish just slightly on the throttle it vibrates enough that you feel it and shakes the mirrors so that they are not usable. the dealer is telling me after they did a final DVA (sensor vibration test) that its well within paccar specs for commercial vehicle use. I am trying to fight with the service manager to get paccar to do something about this. The truck just hit 1 year so the warranty is up but luckily i had them reopen a case before that. I am telling them that on smooth freeway it vibrates enough that the mirrors are not able to be used which is a safety hazard. The main DVA mechanic did a tst ride with me and determined it to be present. not to mention 175k for a 2019 pete with 50k on the odo. I honestly feel that if they tell me "sorry nothing we can do" i will seek legal help. any input?
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

I’d put the truck on jack stands and get a friend to put it through the gears while wheels are off the ground, and get the speedo to where it starts vibrating, Then look around could be warped drum but who knows maybe driveshaft out of balance? Make sure to pick all the rocks out of drives first.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
