Any old Poole truckline hands on here? I never drove for them but they a terminal here in my town when I was a kid. I used to enjoy riding out there looking at those 9670's and those red and white freightliners

I'm not a former Poole driver, but one of my friends drove for them back in the day, prior to the Evergreen Transport days. To this day, he has fond memories of "Mr. Walter".

I don't recall ever seeing red and white tractors, though. I only remember the green and whites.

They had some old C&H heavy haul trucks with the long wheel base. Those were some sweet rides to me

I remember when Schneider bought them out. Some of the people who drove for Poole, had Schneider trucks that had Schneider-Poole on the door. They kept the Evergreen terminal for awhile before Schneider closed it and moved the terminal to Atlanta. That was the best terminal Schneider had for maintenance.
