TA just raised shower prices really?

Just there rules, like I said, they are probably actually loosing money on a 60 gallon shower to start with, just furnishing them because they have to to sell fuel.
What happens if you fill up and buy 120 or 180 gallons at a time, do you still just get one shower?
I generally buy somewhere north of 210 gallons at a time, and get no free showers, I think I am getting screwed. lol

 

I stopped doing small chain truck stops or mom and pops because it’s common for them to not offer showers or points. Plus, their showers are usually dirty. I switched to only fueling at TA/Petro some couple months ago. It’s so nice to never have to walk inside the store to pay for fuel. Their showers are also always available, and can be reserved through their app.

 

We do not have what you would call a truckstop. WE do have A couple we call truckstops, and they do have a couple of showers, but every body else uses the showers, not many truckers. 1 is in town, the other is less than 10 miles out, so no need. One other place to get fuel 250 miles north I am sure they have a shower, but have never seen it and rarely stop there anyway.
All the laundries here have showers and they probably clean them more often than the truck stops here, which is only once or twice a day, if your lucky.

There's a truck stop in ND that got bought out by TA and they still cling to their old policies like having to buy $500 in fuel to get a free shower

 

Save time: wear the wife beater in the shower.
