Drop yard in Victoria Texas the crew told me it was safe to drive onto so we could unload. Turns out it was swamp area, with gravel covering it. needless to say i started to drag out jewelry and just about the time i get 1 set of them on. crew boss comes over with a front end loader and chain to pull me to the asphalt.
Boiler Makers had a bet i was gonna chain all my drives. wonder how much they lost in that bet.
where did you first chain up?

LOL, I was running back and forth to Alaska and didn't even own any chains, the trip before a friend came dragging a set across the lot in Fairbanks and gave them to me, he said it made him nervous, for me to run without them. I was in Laredo loading for Alaska and decided I should see if I could figure out how to put them on and if they even fit. lol
Sweated up a storm and I bet it did puzzle the crowd watching me, probably thought I had smooth lost it, found some good mexican drugs or something. lol
Snoqualmie, is the only place I ever chained in the lower 48, and didn't need to then, but had to go and the chain law was up.Suspect Zero Thanks this. -
