Issued a bad CDL..what do these guys do now?

Been happening in batches for decades.

 

Big scandal with Swift several years ago at their school in Millington, TN.

 

Yeah, that's the first one I thought of.

 

A big pay for CDL scandal happened years ago in Illinois that made then Governor Blagoyovich look real bad even before he tried to sell Obamas vacant senate seat to the highest bidder. Yeah, license scams and scandals happen more than one would think.

 

Blagosab!+©h, while crooked as all get-out, had nothing to do with the CDL-selling. That was the previous governor (George Ryan) during his time as Secretary of State prior to being elected governor.

 

What happened at Swift?

 

Crooks in the trucking industry?? No, can't be. Run for the hills, Ma Barker,,
I tell ya', what loser industry this has become. These poor schmucks paid good money in good faith, to be part of this failing industry? Shows how desperate some people really are.

 

They still sell you a license for $5k, you still can’t drive a truck, and you have to work for them for a year.



A buddy of mine went to the Swift TDI school. Drove for them for a year, just turned his truck in after he was hired by Sysco. He wanted to be more local. He’s stoked.

 

They had the state licensing agency inside of their training terminal and were getting licenses before ever taking the test in some cases.... after an investigation, something like 5000 people lost their license overnight, basically anyone who got it there over 2 year period or something.
