I get it...poor little old you needs special treatment, and the rules just don't apply because of how special your mother told you that you are.
None of that matters. Walmart doesn't want trucks parked there. You parked your truck there anyway. The company contracted by this store to enforce their no-trucks policy enforced it against you. This is a fight you're not going to win. You'll spend money on lawyers (IF they take the case...I'd be shocked if they do considering you'll lose), and Walmart will have their lawyers (on retainer...doubt you're the first to be upset over their parking policy) crush your hopes and dreams and then ask the court to make you pay for THEIR legal bills to defend against your frivolous claim. Or, you can represent yourself...and you know what they say about that. Judge will laugh. Their lawyers will laugh. Everybody (except you, of course) will be laughing about how you seriously thought that law you keep referring to is your authorization to park wherever the hell you want and the private property owner has no recourse against you for using THEIR property against THEIR wishes. Signs were posted. You ignored them. You got caught. That's all there is to it.dwells40 and gentleroger Thank this. -

I had talked to the manager at tthe store I was towed from along with his explanation came the words corporate policy so after stepping in bulldog spew I was thinking it would be a waste of time for a lawyer.. so I looked at the corporate policy..nothing about parking.. so I called the corporate office and had a nice discussion with a corporate representative that informed me of corporate policy.. resolution may be easier than you think as we are allowed to shop there

Like I said, I would've turned their device into scrap and told them to go F themselves and not paid them a dime. They didn't HAVE to give it back, and likely only did because the money wasn't worth the headaches you were causing with your incessant whining and crying. Legally speaking, you didn't have a leg to stand on.Last edited by a moderator: Jun 10, 2019
