    That's for ships.

    But if you hit a POST... then no.

    If DOT had been involved in many post hits around the USA today nothing of real importance would have gotten done.

    The point of many of those systems is exactly like that. It's to stop a truck from getting through at speed to protect whatever facility might be targeted.
