    @nikmirbre
    is that red stuff shrink wrap around that tarp? Good idea! I hauled a big plasma cutter with a tarp like that last year, what a nightmare!

    Oxbow, PoleCrusher and nikmirbre Thank this.

    It’s a little less stronger than shrink wrap but a little stronger than the wrap you would wrap food with..... the rigging company did that.... it didn’t last very long..... I’ve moved 30 miles to receiver and it broke. There was more in it before that picture.... they wanted it covered but not tarped so they came up with that idea.

    You know what Ive done in the past with odd ball "tarp requests"? I call the customer Im delivering to and ask them if they required the item to be tarped. 95% Id get a "uh no, no idea why you were told that" response.

    And my contribution, one of my high priority loads from this week

    I did couple times same ... 15 min after i left the shipper one of the nicest person out there called the broker and said driver left untarped ... Had to tarp it after i left ...
    Another incident recently picking up pipes from hammond in ( tarp per confirmation ) , coming to yard and pipes thrown all over the yard in mud and dirt ... Already rusty as F ... Guess what : have to tarp per customer request , when i delivered - no one cared ... Just absurd and ridiculous and im bit tired of it :(
