Truck hauling 133 million bees crashes in Montana

Apparently you have not hauled bees, honey bees. I don't know anything about bumble bees.
You generally try to load bees at night once they are settled for the night. They get downright irate if you have to mess with them in the daytime. and they are not crazy about the ride either, you drive easy or most do, then the heat gets to them, youhave to spray them when it is hot.
The bees themselves do not weigh 40,000, that is hives honey and all, sometimes they will be rented for a few months and make too much honey, enough that you will be overloaded when you pick them back up. lol
The dot at tehachapi are the only ones anywhere I ever heard of that actually did a level 3 on a load of bees, a friend was pulling. lol

A guy turned a load over a few years back, around San Antonio somewhere iirc, and they stung the driver to death.

The ambitious dot at tehachapi, has to be the only dot in the world that actually did a level 3 on a truck load of bees. They inspected a friend of mine there, he hauled bees all the time, and had never had any dot ask him to pull around back while he was loaded, said he couldn't belive his ears. lol

 

I presume that was two trailers? It looks awful long to be just one trailer.

 

Maybe he was checking for his alerts on TTR?

 

Isn't a level 3 a driver only/log book inspection?... Level 1 would be the dreaded complete truck and driver inspection... Or am I mistaken?
