I drove for them for 5 years in SLC. We hauled turnpike doubles, 2 loads a day 10-12 hours m-f. For the first couple years it wasnt bad. There were normal issues like everywhere else, but nothing to really get upset about. But then we lost all of our bonuses. Our insurance changed in a big wau (pre Obama) and the company attitude became toxic. We also werent growing at all and we never got raises.
We were paid. By the load and it didnt matter how long you sat, no detention. You coild drive down to a customer and sit for 10 hours waiting to get loaded and not make a dime.
