One thing ..in the good old USA..you can always start your own trucking company, and run it however you desire.

I'm a member of the Osage Tribe. Indian nations predate the existence of the United States, and have their sovereign status established in the commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution. This makes certain economic advantages available to them.
Trade was an important historical aspect of all Native tribes, both between themselves and with the explorers and settlers moving to this land. This would just continue that tradition.
I'm confident it will work out well.

I'm thinking instead of across the board profit sharing, breaking it up into units of trucks. Have say five trucks in a unit, with specific goals and dollar amounts attached to them if achieved. Then spread that across the entire company, with company wide goals and dollar amounts attached. Make it easier to manage and identify problems.

Another idea/avenue is expat trucking. Run a truck or two with a couple of expats as owners. Trade off six months running, six months out of country. Pull down some cash, then back to the beach.

They would provide daily food allowance.
    Pay near .70 cpm.
    Offer paid or discount insurance.
    Throw employee party's every year.
Give choice of ELD or Exempt trucks.
    Offer manual, and auto transmissions.
    Allow a dog.
    Allow smoking.
    Fuel anywhere.
    Pay parking.
Have choice of 90mph truck for real drivers.
Offer 75% to 90% linehaul for owner ops.
    Truck washes required weekly.
    D.O.T. inspections every 2 months.
    Shop at terminal.
Driver lounge, and showers, and beds also.
Trucks are all equipped with inverters, APU, microwaves, mini fridge with actual freezer compartment. And TV mounts. But no video gaming sytems allowed.
    Tire discounts for owner ops.
Shop labor discounts for owner ops.
Trailers are equipped with a leaf blower.
I know I'm forgetting a few other things maybe just work with your employees strengths, and treat them with respect.

Only if your paying your own insurance. Pretty sure a couple of those tickets would tanks the company.

Good drivers won’t be getting tickets in a wide open truck.

I run west Texas often hauling crude in a truck that’s set at 85. I run the speed limit but when I get stuck behind a slow moving water truck or work over rig it’s nice to have a little extra pedal when I need it.

The guys who would over use it are easy to find. They are the same ones who get speeding tickets in their personal vehicles.
