I have done quite a bit of mechanicing myself, and have known many , still know many. I have never met one that didn't appreciate a driver taking care of his truck, you guys are paranoid period.

Yep..... I'm the same way about my rigs... Mothers Back to Black works great....even works good to remove the white stain when you accidently get wax on the textured black plastic.

Will see grab some when I can. It’s not that noticeable but I want it fixed.
I didn’t mention it but when my mirror was hit, I used a paint pen to hide it after reporting it. I’m just weird I guess that’s why I repainted an entire truck bed over gravel chips.

I think it’s with the mega carriers you get this issue. Cause I know the mechanics really appreciate me taking care of equipment. If I can do some preventative maintainence it helps the company and me since I’m not sitting only making layover.

I can dig it. Your truck is an extension of yourself. I have a similar attitude. My advice would be to double check that you still have the documentation of what kind of condition the truck was in when you got it, so that you can prove you didn't cause the damage

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

No the scratches are on me but I drove to a receiver with a literal mud lot. It’s marks from the mud being rubbed onto the bumper not scratch marks like I rubbed it against a wall or vehicle.

I drive a 20 Cascadia with the low bumper, I m sure mine is scratched to hell on the very bottom piece because our yard in Grand Forks look like they had the monster truck series in the parking lot with pot holes and dirt speed bumps everywhere. That s the only way my bumper gets dirt scratches

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
