I have Googled and poked around, and every shop I can see that does customized sleepers, either sells enormous sleepers, or full RV conversions.

I just want to talk to a company with experience customizing standard industry sleeper cab trucks.

The design of all standard sleepers I have ever seen is terrible and retarded. I have never been able to find anyone that offers a passenger seat replacement that can safely and securely mount a fridge and microwave, for example. I have never found anyone that can replace an upper bunk with storage cabinets.

Having the bed across the back side of the sleeper is also silly for non-team trucks. Turn it 90 degrees, swap the cabinet, so both cabinets are on the same side, and you would have room for a seat and fold down desk against the back of the sleeper between the bed and cabinets.

So, anyone know a company that does custom work in smaller factory sleepers?

ARI, ICT, AA Custom and premier custom sleepers, they all do the work.

Just do not ever use Bolt, they do crap work.

Ari is who I would also try with first. Several years ago I wanted to do same thing. Problem I ran into was. There is not enough room between the back of drivers seat, and the sleeper wall. I guess you can move the passenger seat forward as much as needed. Then put bed on that side, TFB for anyone over 5 feet tall, who has to sit there. I also used to have ride along helpers. So taken the top bunk out and putting in cabinets was not an option for me at that time.

I have an 03 FLD with the 70" sleeper. I did the work myself.
Take out the top sleeper. I then put a fold up bed against the back wall. On the bottom of that is a fold down table we use when the bed is folded up. The mattress we got off amazon. Queen size 12" memory foam that we used an electric carving knife to cut 5" off the side to fit. Made cabinets myself to fit behind both seats. Microwave is behind her seat, Dometic fridge in upper cabinet behind mine.
If you dont need the big size bed, go to home depot/lowes and they have premade cabinets. Take out the upper, and rest the cabinets on those supports

As soon as I get some other things caught up I'm going to gut my 2015 Volvo 780 and redo the interior. I have a lot of experience rehabbing classic campers, building vans for vanlifers/expediters, etc. The Volvo already has the biggest cabin and I love the downstairs dinette/workstation or whatever you want to call it but it could be done so much better.

Problem of course is taking it off the road for a couple weeks to do the job right. I already have fridge, desk, sink, microwave and inverter but the plastic cabinets need to come out and be replaced with wood and mostly I want and need counterspace to work and cook at.

I'm hoping to figure out how to mount a bed front to back instead of side to side, up high on one side.

And, when you have it apart....get ya some spray foam insulation to spray all the walls. It makes one hell of a difference!!
