I'm just like Confused, been with them long enough for free deductible. How good are I don't know cause I've never filed a claim. Good price and they take my money and provide all the necessary proof.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Great west insures alot of small and medium size carriers in the upper midwest and are considered the Cadillac of truck insurance but they are not the cheapest and they dont insure the accident prone .

Ps ....I had to have my former bosses truck towed into Las Vegas out of cali a few years ago that was insured by GW with tow insurance.
I called GW in south souix from the roadside and they took care of the rest....I've been insured by them off and on over the last 30 years and never had a problem with them .
Make em buy you lunch lol.

After an accident, 11 yrs ago on NJ, I had trouble with Ooida ins. They paid, and didn’t even raise my premium. Collision Shop Owner warned Me, that it was going to be a pain, So I asked him. Who’s the best? His reply was Great west, as they were good to deal with and according to him ( with a smile) They have a lot of money. I’ve been with Northland now for at least 8 yrs. They’ve been very good so far. I minor accident in McDonald’s parking lot.My fault, backed into a pick up truck. Damaged bed and cap. Never heard a thing about it. Never raised rates. Agent has done comparisons, says they can’t be beat. I called Progressive myself, Quite a bit higher. Great west is probably better, but I’ll stick with Northland. So far so good.

How is it with them adding trucks ? I have 6 now, going into 4th year authority, no OOS/tickets or accidents. I want to be able to add trucks whenever I want and not wait like my current company.

I'm with Great West and can't complain. They take care of my needs quickly and offer decent rates. Never had to file a claim so can't speak there.
