Years of scientific research at Universities to study how to sit?
    That sounds expensive to me.
And why on earth are there so many adjustments on seats if we already know what the proper position is?
The back and seat angles should not be adjustable if your professors have already determined the proper angles. All that is needed his height and fore/aft, no?

I'll take my 40 years experience, and my good back thanks. Funny that it takes a team of scientists and hospitals years and years to figure out what us dumb truck drivers already know.

I bet whole books have been written on the subject of correct seating position for good posture and no back pain. And if they haven't, well, here and now is as good of a time as any other to write it.

The proper angles have a certain range, as I wrote before. The backrest between 95° and 115°. The angle of the seat also has a certain range.
    No
Sure, that is exactly what these people write. Truck drivers who believe they have the proper sitting position, while in fact they have not, and brush any advice aside. Typical.

I suppose you never heard of the SAE. Not only have they investigated this in the past, but the subject of well designed seats, and the proper sitting position is still what they are working on. Please give them a call, and tell them that you know everything on this subject.

So, after 40 years of doing this and operating heavy equipment, and having a good back that can put in a full day of labor if needed, you feel that my seating position must be incorrect because I did not consult some nim-wit scientist to learn how to sit. Typical arrogant, and incredibly ignorant attitude Caesar.

Good scientists and engineers realize the value of experience. Poor ones act like you.
