Here is the root of Poly's pathological payroll setup, except I'm not sure why ArmyGuy wrote "scan in":

"Poly trips do not end until you get back to a poly plant to get another load therefore you cant scan in a half completed trip." (Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking)

But there's more. Poly has a weird stop-pay policy that rewards drivers with additional pay for not turning trips in when they get to a terminal that's not their home terminal. Go figure.

They’re still doing that? Physically turn the bills in before getting paid? I scanned bills from 2003 to 2012. Was one of the first Transflow app users when it launched back in 2010.

You have to remember they are not a trucking company. They are a plastics company that has trucks.

Yeah its kind of crazy. One week you get paid say one thousand dollars. Then the next week due to whatever reason you didnt get your miles turned in by payroll cut off, so you miss a check. Then you turn in more miles for the following week and you get paid two thousand dollars. Who do they think they are!

One week used to pay more like $1500+ on average at Poly. It's probably about $1700+ now. It must be that plastic manufacturers, unlike trucking companies, save a bunch of money by rewarding drivers for delaying when they turn their trips in.

Poly rewarding drivers for delaying paperwork is a false statement. Might be what a person tells themself to justify missing payroll one week, but that doesn't make it a true statement. Also theres drivers making 40k a year at poly as well as 80k so who knows what the average is lol. I know as of June 15th im at 36k.

If you turn your paperwork in at a non-home terminal, you don't get any stop pay for your next drop; if you instead hang onto your paperwork at that terminal, you get paid for your next drop. How is that not being rewarded for delaying?

Poly is either letting these purported $40K drivers grossly violate the 2K miles/week policy or the policy no longer exists, because 2K times 52 times $0.56 equals $58,240.

Because its your choice. If poly offers me loads, and i take the 1500 mile load i was not rewarded a good load. I chose it. If i choose to run 20 59 81 to Virginia instead of 30 40 81 im not rewarded more miles. Its just the way i choose to run within the poly system.

Poly loads are not like they use to be either. its not often you dont get to your home terminal unless you choose loads that way. At poly its not necessarily true the longer load is the better one, the one stopper is better than multiple stops. Or if you dont turn in your paperwork at any plant anytime you're there, that you make less than the guy who waits to get to his home terminal. Theres to many factors.
