Will wrecks with a class D license make it difficult/impossible to acquire a CDL?

The insurance company, progressive, wouldn't do anything. They were just waiting for the court to tell 'em something and they never did, so they closed the claim. It's not worth continuing this bs. It would have cost less if I had simply said no contest and eaten the insurance hike and whatever penalty the county would have thrown at me. No one truly wins a court case, unless of course you're a lawyer. Then you always win.

I’m a Retired State Trooper and now run a PI business but collisions are where I can put in a ton of work because almost all of my years was accident reconstruction.

    Where you headed to?
Sometimes there's cdl jobs for 18 year old drivers; depends on where you live.

Right now I figure I'm headed for the Texas/Oklahoma oil fields. I wanna go back to ranching country, but agriculture don't pay jack. They might, or might not want an 18 year old driver, but I'd be happy with any position. If you've got an assortment of trades, you might not make it to the top, but it'll be hard to go unemployed.

"Captain Mudsocks" ; that's a good name for a race horse or maybe a rodeo horse.
