hubby and I both have these He has the VXIB250 I have?? (not sure his old one..LOL) If I am running into the store I plug it into the charger to disconnect it pretty fast, I just wish I could resync it as fast (I inevitably forget to reconnect it after getting back in the van and that's when I would get a call) Hubby will sync his to his laptop as well and wishes it would switch between the two quicker.

It is pretty loud, I have a bit of a hearing issue in one ear so it's nice to be able to actually hear the people I am talking to, although if I forget to turn it down and it rings I jump cause it's so loud.

I love the fact I can actually hear him when he is on the road, the only time we have issue is if his window is open then the wind can be heard (cause it's blowing on the mic)

Friend of mine has one and it sounds great when I talk to him -- much better than his old bluetooth. With the old one, everytime he used his turn signal it nearly made me go deaf it came over so loud -- too bad his voice didn't come over as well. Now, I have to ask if he's driving because I can't hear any background noise over it. I'm looking at getting one -- glad I stumbled on this post so I will be sure to get the latest and greatest -- going to use some of my frequent fueler points since I don't use them on anything else (eat in the truck 99% of the time).

You can't go wrong with a Blue Parrot. And once you own one...nothing else will even come close. People can hear and understand you, and you can hear and understand them...even if you're half deaf.

I have my second one now. I took a short break between the 2, with an overpriced POS called the Jawbone....I need my tailbone kicked for even wasting my money.

Just be sure to charge it exactly as they recommend...the first time. 24 full hours

I've had mine for a couple of months now and am real happy with it, except sometimes after I charge it, it will sync up to the phone then lose sync after about 30 seconds. I can turn off the headset and turn off the phone and it will continue to do the same thing. The only thing that seems to work is to put it back on the charger again...

Luckilly it doesn't do this very often. Just often enough to be annoying..

I like the Blue Eagle headset. Never had a problem with it not connecting the phone. The sound quality is amazing. When I am on the phone using it I usually had the drivers side window down because I am a smoker. Nobody could believe I was driving a big truck. They thought I was sitting at home. I hear better on that headset than I do just using the phone alone.

Do they work with AT&T phone Service ?
The Packaging on the RoadWarrior doesnt list AT&T.

They should work on any Bluetooth enabled phone. The carrier doesn't matter. The headset communicates with the phone, not the cell site..

I contacted BP Customer Service and they said these units will not work with most Motorola units and virtually all of the LG units due to software.

AT&T was not one of the listed* Carriers on the BP RoadWarrior packaging thats why I asked.

    So FWIW . . . . .

I swapped out for the Cobra CBTH1/T5 and will give it a go.Not sure its going to work, the volume is low and the incoming sound is weak with the truck down as well as idling. Not much promise for road speed I'm thinking:biggrin_25510:

JJ recently got a new phone and it is Motorola Moto and his new XT250 works great with it and before we swapped to Verizon a couple of weeks ago we were with AT&T and it worked fine with his phone then as well

I've used it with both brands. It works perfect every time.

Sounds like you may have gotten a disgruntled employee.

FYI --- Blue tooth technology is NOT a product of AT&T, Motorola, or LG. While the technology was slow to start. It has been adopted by over 25,000 cumpanies as THE standard.
So if there is a software issue, it's because someone didn't install it.
