Interesting, because last year I bought a new Mack, and the driveline wasn't even tightened properly, on a new truck lol. It was a very quick fix, but still......

We've had a fair number of issues with our Anthems, but nothing like this...mostly electrical gremlins, especially with the stupid Wingman nanny breaking and ATC (traction control)...it's the 1st year for a new model...never buy the 1st year, let the Megas buy them and be the test dummies that work out the bugs.

I bought a new anthem and love it. Only minor issues so far for mine. Leaking coolant filter, malfunctioning left speaker and air leak of auto leveler. Wish driver seat area had more room. I'm a small guy and its tight getting out driver seat to the bunk.

Your truck must have been assembled on a Tue, Wed or Thurs...Mon and Fri the workers are either getting over a hangover or planning how they're getting their next one.

By chance did this have a DANA driveline???

I bought a new Peterbilt 389 last year and it came out of the factory the same way with a completely boogered-up Dana driveline. The truck would shake your guts lose over 50 miles per hour...

apparently it's a fairly widespread problem with the Dana driveline so on the new trucks I ordered this year I went full meritor.

So this is how it should have been played out.

Owner: Sir what’s the issue with my truck?

Dealer: We looked at it and it needs a alignment and balancing

Owner: Ok can I get the printout with the cause and fix on it for my records?

    Dealer: Sure

    Owner: Thanks

    After alignment

Owner: well that didn’t fix it

Dealer: we found the real issue

Owner: Good so you will pay for the alignment and balancing correct? Since I did it based on your findings and if that’s not the issue guess your paying for it.

    Dealer: no we won’t pay.

    Owner: ok fix my truck

    After truck fixed

Owner: giving you one more chance to pay for the unnecessary repairs done on truck based on your report

    Dealer: no

    Owner: see you in court.

If you have proper documents and reports and receipts, it’s a no brainer win win for you.
