Mt. Olive to Hopkins used to be my company's lane. I always wondered who undercut us on that. NOW I KNOW!!!! :biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516: :biggrin_25525:

Oh well, that's life in the big city. I know how much $$$ we hauled it for, and if Magnum can do it for less than that, then God Bless 'em. Most likely, Magnum undercut the company that undercut the company that undercut us. I'm sure we undercut someone to get it in the first place (probably Magnum!).

That's a pretty good run. Dry, not crazy heavy, drop and hook. There's not a lot that comes out of that part of the country to MN. At least I know it's in your good hands. However, if my Mt. O sweet gherkins aren't on the shelves at Cub, you'll be the first to hear about it!! :biggrin_25525:

Actually, it was a brokered load, not a Magnum load. Of course, as it is obvious, I cant tell you the finer details, but it was not handled well from the brokers end, however, the shipper and I put our heads together and fixed it. So it all worked out well.

And fear not, my brother..... the pickles are safe, the bell peppers are in place, and everyone will be able to garnish your hamburgers from the fruits of my labor. hehehehehehehe

    Talk soon

And who said anything about hamburgers?? Bloody Marys, my man!!! Still, I don't know if I can eat those broker pickles now!!! Ignorance was bliss, I guess.

Glad to hear that things are still going good for you, buddy!! :biggrin_25519:

Ok, so now I am ticked off..... see the picture of the hood of this Freightliner Classic that pulled in across the lot from me at the J in Dallas. It might be a little hard to read, but you'll see......

    <shaking head><stomping feet>

now I want another truck! (I feel so...... UGH!)

Unfortunately when you think you're original... your not. I've been called Biscuit since I was 18. That was back in 1993. I have still heard of other "Biscuits" out there. But... I am the original!! LOL

Scooter: had dinner with Steve (Tinman) the other nite & we had a great time. He said you guys hadn't been able to hook up yet, but you should. He's a decent guy; has a good head on for being new to OTR. He has some great pics on his camera.
