After replacing starter, i check ECM, and Quantity controlValve (engin code popped up for that) but all ohms checked ok on that, did have some oil in the ECM plug, cleaned it out, (dripping from "plug?" on bottom of the oil filter housing), all cleaned, still had trouble.... after all this searching, the 2 wire plug that goes into the endo starter, that goes to the top of the thermal protection solenoid, we voltage tested it, and was giving no voltage on ignition start, made a jumper wire, boom fired right of with key, rewired plug with inline fuse, fires off every time, no time delay... Thanks everyone for your inpu5

I have a 2016 5700xe that has a similar issue, turn the key wait for gauge sweep engage ignition and I get “clicking” noise, usually it’ll fire up but yesterday I must of held the ignition too long got an electrical smell waited 15 minutes and it fired up, figured it was an ignition solenoid but dealer said it doesn’t have separate one! Started right up 4 times yesterday but did it again this am... you think this is the same issue you had?
