im in the processing of buying a used Volvo from Arrow Truck Sales. It’s a 2015 Volvo 730 with 396k miles for 50k. I’m looking to get the truck inspected by a mechanic to see if they notice anything. Ive read a few times that it should be dynoed so it would be great if they have the equipment to do so.
Any recommendations? Thanks

Get the dyno done with blow by test for sure. Oil analysis on engine trans and rears. ECM dump. Look at ecm and odometer mileage matching and also idle %. High idle time is death to an emissions motor,

What else what you recommend? Or do you not recommend one of the mentioned for whatever reason? Also do you know how long an oil analysis takes?
I’m not an owner operator. I’m an owner with drivers. I may lack experience / knowledge. But that’s what this forum / the internet is for. -
