6.6 South Cal Registered Quake

I reached the same conclusion, but I was afraid of being laughed out of the school house.

Never mind what the lady big mouth talks about. Pay attention to what they AINT. Particularly in a room full of reporters.

Morning check shows it rocking and rolling by the hundreds on the USGS relatively ranging from maybe 3 miles deep to maybe 14.

Im waiting for the deep ones.

If you stood on the San Andreas and held hands with a spouse and it snaps. You two are going to be 30 feet apart and maybe higher or lower than each other.

Last year a bouy in the ocean bounced 40 feet and the entire Pacific went to alert thinking we are all fixing to swim.

What had happened was there is two cables holding that bouy, one is the measuring how much that seafloor kicked up or down in a quake. That above causes big time long period waves that when reach the shore it becomes a 1/3 mile high in places. They adjusted the cabling and alls well. The actual bounce was about 6 inches or so there while the actual failure was some distance away.

 

Quakes running half count this afternoon

Andreas had 4 small ones near surface in the region of LA south in the night.

 

Half again last night in count about 150 or so now around ...

That's a two edged sword. Earth wants to settle. It's heavy when it does.

We wait. There will be a time people might talk about earthquake lights prior to the next big shake. So once they start talking it's time to run.
