    Yes, exactly;

    And i'm not saying i know much about economics, but as i stated in another thread, i feel that the way to judge how the economy is doing--at least in certain areas, i.e., NY metro area, DC/balt area etc., is to look at truck traffic.

    NY/NJ metro area seems to be doing ok.

    I've been o/o in the n.east for the past 6yrs and this is the worst I seen it get everything is slow dry van,reefers,flatbeds dump trucks, and as of late even containers are at a stand still and that's not good I don't think we will start to see a turn around until the summer of 2010 because capacity in area is still to high and it has decrease a lot before we will see a improvement and lets not talk about rates the are completely in the can !
