I’ve heard that said many times on this forum. I choose to take a little more pride in my truck than that. Washed, waxed, and polished. Ready for the week ahead.

It’s only 265” wheelbase, but being a 579 it looks longer than it is. It originally had a lift axle on it. The cam lock is for my blower. It’s mounted up between my fuel tanks.

So jealous. I HATE MY TRUCK RIGHT NOW. Its dirty, covered in bugs, dull aluminum. You name it. But we are so short handed right now its 65-70hrs on in 5-6 days 34-36hrs off then back to the grind. Hardly enough time on my off time to get laundry and a little food prep done before leaving the barn again. Gonna have to take a couple weeks off soon and get her professionally shined up then I'll at least have a fighting chance of keeping up with it.

I love washing my truck and having it all clean, smooth and shiny like my dream girl's... You know.

Only to have it rain a few hours later and drive around in some mud so it looks like my ex's.. you know, instead.

Actually, it's been an irritating day for me.

Nice ride!! A set of $400 Snap On wrenches are "just tools" also...but I be ###### if I'd ever put away one of my wrenches without wiping them down!! I think they're just lazy!! IMG_20180922_184648197.jpg I rub on my working girl and I don't even own her.

We’re short handed too, but I took last week off just to get out of the truck. Luckily I only have 6 wheels to polish so I can hit them every now and again while I’m unloading. I don’t know what I’d do if I had to keep up with steps and tanks or a bumper.

I find that if I do it myself and it rains I don’t get as upset as I do when I swing in and pay $100 or more for a wash and it rains the next day.
