Hey guys, new to the industry and found it made more sense to secure my own DOT and MC numbers effectively securing my own authority. Trying to begin leasing to owner operators but will definitely need a factoring company that is felon friendly. Any ideas or advice?

You are piggybacking onto a thread that relates to felons trying to get settled in trucking. Personally I don't care, only that your situation is totally different than this thread and will unnecessarily confuse people.

You are better off building your own thread OR searching in Top right corner for FACTORING and going through those. Don't worry, TTR is very large someone will get to you.

what if the felony is only 3 or 4 years old? Think they’ll still hire?

You should be ok. If not Magnum, plenty of other companies will hire you.
How much, if any, experience do you have?

They just called me for a interview but I have a 3 year old drug felony as well. Do you think they hire felons from 3 years old?

I only have 2 months OTR. Started driving class B job locally because no companies would take me. Now it’s been 3 years since my conviction and a few companies have been reaching out. I got approved to work at Melton but I hear that’s hard work. I figured I should try hauling a dry van before I went out there trying to do flatbed with only a little experience. I’m still a rookie so idk which way to go right now.
