Looks easy enough to tarp but doesn’t look fun. Definitely a few hours if everything on your trailer in the pic needs tarps. Chance of damaged tarps is almost guaranteed there and I carry a ridiculous amount of padding.
If it says no tarp on confirmation I would either give broker 3 options.
1. Deliver as usual without tarping.
2. I would tarp it for $500 extra.
3. I would return to shipper figured at $4/mile or $750/day whichever is greater.
Since you already picked it up with a confirmation signed the power is in your hands.Tb0n3 and MartinFromBC Thank this. -

We agreed to tarp the load for $350 and received confirmation , load was tarped yesterday at about 6pm and pic been taken , load been delivered today in the morning and delivery location made pics as well . On my BOL they marked LOAD LEFT PICK UP LOCATION WITHOUT TARP . Broker cut the rate back and said load was delivered wet and damaged . I was parked across the street from shipper waiting for my next load and decided to go in and talk to the guy who unloaded the machinery and signed the paperwork ... He said : i dont dont talk to you , pls leave and contact the broker
It wasn't even raining , could deliver without tarp and it wouldn't be wet , hate busting my balls yesterday tarping it and see this outcome today . We provided pics with the time stamp in the details showing load yesterday at 6pm and today at 8am - broker said we must put the tarp near delivery
Any ideas , complaint can be filed ?MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
Maybe its Karma coming back on ya from all the shady rate cutting tactics that you seem to have...

theres close to a half million dollars in machines there and yet you dont think all the electrical components need covered? Rain, road debris and foreign materials getting In those machines would reek havoc, and yet you thought it wasn't a big deal and rolled anyways just because the confirmation said "no tarp"????
