They already tried YRC Logistics, which crashed and burned. Maybe they think they've figured it out this time.

I was speaking with a driver that does flatbed delivery for Home Despot, he said he needs to deal with XPO because they are the primary contractor for it, then he works for a sub, who then hired him to drive.
This way the client gets to pay 100/hour for a 17/hour driver and use their own trailer.Mike2633 and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
One of the reasons the regionals have been doing so well is they kept their original names. There are alot of people that don't like YRC and then the other half doesn't like Holland/Reddaway/NewPen. Brand loyalty tends to keep everyone afloat.
And obviously it makes sense that you can't run parallel companies in the same area and then be surprised that your regional is running your flagship company into a deficit cause nobody likes YRC in that area (or vice versa).
Bring on a complete YRC merger. They won't have half the freight they now half once it's all consolidated. Don't worry, YRC won't disappoint.Cardfan89, Mike2633, speedyk and 1 other person Thank this. -
