Just a little about me:
1. mature straight lady not looking for a relationship
2. no DUIs/drugs/smoking anything type of person
3. technical background
4. one with nature person
5. had family/ex bf who drove semis but was never offered the opportunity of course; love CBs
6. am a cleaner/organizer type if the mentor needs help with that
7. do not qualify for any program that helps pay for CDL training and nervous about accepting any trainer/stranger on the road type of program
8. later want to work for transporting RVs and other vehicles or driveaway jobs but they want a CDL, recent exp, and lots of miles done before even applying but worried about age discrimination in order to do all of those things first
9. loves to drive in general; can drive a manual; can read a map and use Google map too
10. Searching for an experienced lady trucker mentor in Cleveland, OH to talk to in-person, not just text alone, who might help me research some options relative to my age and circumstances
Any lady mentor truckers in Cleveland, OH?

“do not qualify for any program that helps pay for CDL training and nervous about accepting any trainer/stranger on the road type of program”
So, have you thought about company sponsored training? Why a mentor? Companies aren’t likely to hire you if you go that route.
Best of luck.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Thanks but I'm not looking for your information or reply. I spelled things out clearly in my post and am very educated.

You can either get a CDL on your own or you can't.
If you can't, then you have to go to mega company
School and ask for a female trainer once you
Past the course and get your CDL.
Then quit, and pay them back for the school,
Or work for them for a year.
That's up too you.
They could care less about any of the other stuff
You written about.
Don't even mention it. Just sat you want to
Be a truck driver.
Once you get that CDL you can do whatever you want.FlaSwampRat, Chinatown and Puppage Thank this. -
So, she’s not really asking a question. She just wants everyone to know how awesome she is? Got it.

Truck driving is unskilled labor.
They don't even have to pay you overtime.
6th grade education is good enough.
Can you get the job done rain, snow or shine.
That's all that matters.
There's about 50,000 years of experience on
This site. You should just sit back and listen.
