Do you guys ever pull vans, and does it change your pay scale if you're not pulling sets?

I seen teams pulling a 53ft instead of a set. The only difference is breaking set pay.

We get paid for breaking a set down? I thought it was only for hooking. So when you get to a smaller terminal sometimes we have to break the set down and put the pups to the door or park them? My yard has spaces for drivers to just pull in and drop the set

My mistake your right i believe is only for hooking. Just to be sure go to page 83 on this thread and youll see kao minerva check. It details how extraboard gets paid.

Yep. Pull Van's too. No on the pay scale. .695 is top rate van or sets. Only thing if you break or hook a set its $8 to break $8 to hook. If you drop the entire set and dont break it you get $0

You get paid for breaking sets apart and putting them together, for Estes west it's $10 for each one. I just missed this post above me explaining it.....

It's now. 62 for scheduled runs, and . 63 extra board to start with 1 penny raise every 6 months till top. Also an additional penny if you pull triples, plus 14.50 (not 100% sure, I don't pull triples) for the breaks and hooks of a triple set. I'm not at the top yet, also not sure of the hourly top wage. I think around $28 for my region. Break down at your hourly rate after the first hour. Also chain pay, haven't had to do it yet but the guys I meet get a lot of it. Not sure around 15$ for it.

I just hit my one year anniversary here at the big e. Wish I was a top scale!
